BRITAIN NOT WITHDRAWING. GERMAN LIE REFUTED. •lieceived Nov. 21, 3.30 p.m. London, Nov. 19. •Renter's official correspondent says that there is absolutely no truth in the reports in the German press that Britain has iniorined Russia that she is withdrawing from the Dardanelles. "A MAD SCHEME." IDRD BERESFORD AGAIN.
.Received Nov. 21, 11 p.m. London, Nov. 21. Lord Charles Beresford, in a communication to the press commenting on Mr. Churchill, says that he is convinced that if the policy of the attack on the Dardanelles had been brought by the Admiralty before the ! Naval and Military War Staffs their decision would have been that such a mad scheme of attacking without military support should never be initiated.
