MonroFerguson, unveiled at Darlington Hall a memorial tablet to Captain Shout, who won the Victoria Cross at Lone Pine. OVER 30,000 CASUALTIES. Sydney, Nov. 21. Total casualties: — Officers. —Dead 308, wounded 414, missing 17, sick 411, prisoners (i, nature tasualty unknown 31. Men.—Dead 5425, wounded 13,244, missing 1-t'ul, sick !)f»27, prisoners 47, nature casualty unknown 23!). The dead include n chaplain and a nurse, and the wounded include two chaplains.
