SEAMEN'S PAY.

TO BE RECEIVED MONTHLY. By Telegraph.—Press Association.. Wellington, Yesterday. An important decision has been given by the Crown Law Office relating to section 03 of the Shipping and Seamen Act, dealing with what are known as time agreements. The effect is that shipowners have to make arrangements for the crews of ships having time agreements, no matter where the ships are trading to, to pay the men every month instead of giving them an advance only and paying them in full when the return voyage is finished.
