PREPARING.
; SIR JOHN FRENCH'S REPORT. Received Nov. 17, 6.50 p.m. London, Nov. 17. Sir John trench reports that since his communique of November 10 the artillery on bo>th sides has been active, especially south of La Bassee canal and eastward of Kemmel, also east of Ypres. There have been no infantry actions, but considerable mining activity.
