LIBEL ACTION SETTLED. By Telegraph.—'Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The action, Bank of New Zealand versus New Zealand "Truth," claiming ten thousand, pounds damages for libel contained in an article, published on June 19th, attacking the management and stability of the Bank, has been settled. Defendants unreservedly withdraw all imputations against the Bank, and express regret, and agree to pay the plaintiff's costs.
