The Tribune says that Germany disavowed the Lusitania outrage, while the Ancona destroys the last semblance of verity for the assertion, President Wilson has won a diplomatic victory over Germany, honorable to the United States and useful to neutrals. Reports by the State Department show that the suspected steamer Zeelandia was not searched in a Mexican port, but on the high seas. It is unlikely that the United States will take any action.
