LOSS OF THE UNDINE. BRITISH SUBMARINE GETS BUSY. Stockholm, Nov. 9. Particulars of the loss of the Undine have been received at Malmoe. The cruiser was escorting the Cerman ferry boat Preusscn from Trelleborg (Sweden) to Sassnitz. A British submarine appeared early on Sunday afternoon 22 miles from Trellcborg. The cruiser sank in three minutes. The crew were saved, except 19. The second officer and six men succumbed to their injuries. The ferry boat and the escorting torpedo boats were not attacked.

IN THE ADRIATIC,

FOOD TRANSPORTS SUNK. Received Nov. 11, 12.25 a.m. Rome, Nov. 10. The Austrians claim to have sunk three freighters, which were conveying food, in the Adriatic.

ANOTHER LINER TORPEDOED.

OVER 200 PERSONS MISSING. Received Nov. 11, 12.25 a.m. London, Nov. 10. Reuter's correspondent at Rome states that an Austrian submarine sunk the liner Ancona, which was carrying 422 passengers and sixty of a crew. Two hundred and seventy survivors hare landed at Bizerta.

GERMAN FERRY SERVICE SUSPENDED. Received Nov. 10, 7.5 p.m. Copenhagen, Nov. ft. Since the sinking of the Undine the German ferry service between Trelleborg and Bassnitz has been suspended.

The British steamers Buresk, Woodfield, and Glenmoor, and the Japanese steamer Yaeukuni Maru, have been sunk. The crews were landed, FIRE ON .FRENCH LINER. New York, Nov. 9. The captain of the Rocham'beau has sent a wireless message that the fire has been extinguished, and that he is proceeding to Bordeaux.
