It is believed that there will be a fair supply of tonnage at the beginning of the season, but soinc shortage later on as regards Australia, owing to the wheat demands from America taking up tonnage for direct wool shipments from Australasia.

There is no wool scarcity in Britain at present. The trade welcomes the spreading of arrivals over a longer period, as it will ease the financial burden and tend to more steady prices.
