THE BUILDOG BREED. LOSS OF THE ARGYLL. iIAGNIKDOENT DISOIPINE. London, Nov. 2. The wonderful discipline of the crew was the outstanding feature of the stranding of the Argyll. It was terrible weather, and pitch dark, and the ship was badly smashed. The men quietly took their stations on tie waveswept decks.
The sound of th« rending of the hull was plainly audible, but they waited, half-frozen, for developments in the finest spirit of the navy. Wireless calls were sent for rescuers, who skilfully took off everyone, despite the roughness and the dark sea. BRITISH TORPEDO-BOAT SUNK. COLLISION AT GIBRALTAR.
