BOWLING.

The New Plymouth and Inglcwood Greens are to be formally opened for the season this afternoon. Ladies and visiting bowlers are cordially invited bv both clulbs.

The following four rinks from the Stratford Bowling Club have been selected to play the West End Club at NVtv Plymouth on Thursday week, the I'.tli inst., for the Banner, viz.:—Wright, Cottier, J. Masters, McMillan (s); Rowe, Fookes, Smart, Sharp (sj; R. Afasters, Edgecombe, Morison, Betts (s); Bickerton, F. J. McDonald, W Mac Donald, Sangster (9). This is the first Banner match of the season.
