ON THE CARSO FRONT. ' FURTHER ITALIAN SUCCESSES. Rome, Oct. 24. A communiqiue states:—We carried by assault Mount Notic, westward of Lake Gard, thus completing the command of Ledro Valley. We progressed in the upper middle Isonzo, and after sanguinary fighting on the whole front of Carso, particularly towards San Martimo del Caro, aud captured three thousand prisoners, including, sixty officers, and a great quantity of munitions. THE ADVANCE CONTINUES. ITALIANS SCORE AT SEVERAL POINTS. Received Oct. 25, 8.10 p.m. Rome, Oct. 25. A communique sta'tos:—We obtained further successes at Lebro Valley, occupying the northern heights and dominating the Bezzeea basin. We repulsed an attack at the outlet of Popena valley and pompleted the occupation of southeastern slopes of Orzli, repulsing two violent attacks at Ondil. There was determined fighting on both sides ull day Saturday at Carso plateau. Our infantry advanced impetuously, and important positions were captured aid recaptured by both sides several-times. By the evening we had solidly maintained' our progress on the left wing, eastward of Petoano, and in the centre towards Marcottins. We took one thousand prisoners and captured three mitrailleuses in the Isonzo.
