BOROUGH COUNCIL VACANCY.
MR. F. E. WILSON NOMINATED. For tin? vacancy on the New Plymouth Borough Council caused by the resignation of Mr. S. J. Smith, the nomination of Mr Frank E. Wilson was received by the returning officer yesterday. Mr. Wilson was nominated by Messrs W. N. Ewing, S. W. Shaw, C. F. Foote. W. F. Brooking, R. T. McQuade, and R. C. Hughes. Mr. Wilson served on the Borough Council for five years and is at present chairman of the Vogeltown Progressive Association
