NORTH TARANAKI PATRIOTIC LEAGUE.

Miss Roberts was granted permission to dispose of a Christmas cake in aid of the Belgian Fund. It was agreed to appoint Mrs. T. Elliot as receiver of clothing for the Belgians. It was decided to hold the next meet-' ing on Tuesday evening next, in place of Monday, the latter being gala day at Urenui. Accounts were passed for payment. A vote of condolence was passed to the family of W. Davidson, who lost his life in the Dardanelles. Mr. Skerrett is to be written to concerning the position at the National Fund for Wounded Soldiers. The secretary reported a balance of something ,over £7OO, the total subscriptions to date being £lOOl.
