A DRAMATIC STROKE.

The landing of the Allies at Enos, ■which is a port 12 miles south-east of Dede-Agatch, is not confirmed, but if a footing has been established the feat will be one of the most dramatic and decisive strokes made by a sea power during the course of the war. ITALY'S POLICY A SLJS6PING PARTNER. Received Oct. 19, 10.55 p.m. Rome, Oct. 19. iSignor Somnino, in the Cabinet, outlined Italy's policy in the Balkans. He stated tbat Italy at present would not send troops to Serbia, but will be giving assistance to the Allies from transports and hospital ships, and also Italian guns and munitions which had been sent in large quantities to Montenegro and Serbia.
AUSTRIAN REPORT. OF VARIOUS SUCCESSES. Received Oct. 19, 10.55 p.m. Vienna, Oct. 19. A communique states that the Serbian divisions who were defeated at Avala are retreating south. We are attacking their detachments north of Ralja. The German divisions are gaining ground on both sides of the Lower Morava, and the Bulgarians have occupied the heights of Muslin (Percin and Badinzub, and are advancing over Egripalonk.
