ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
KILLED BY A MOTOR-CAR. By Telegraph.—< Press Association. Auckland, Oct. 10. William Huddy, aged 65, a labourer, was knocked down by a motor-car in the street, and died in hospital three hours later. Corporal Thomas Jones, who was driving the motor-car, was unaware of the accident until he felt a bump and found the man lying 011 the road. A CHILD KILLED. Pahiatua, Oo{. 10. A distressing fatality occurred Here this afternoon. Doris Boyens, aged eight years, youngest child of Win. 11. Boyens, was thrown from a horse which kicked her on the head. The girl was killed instantaneously.
