M'USDER OF WOMEN AND CHILDREN PAINFUL DETAILS; Received Oct. 18, 12.40 ajn. London, Oct. 17. A number of inquests on the victims of the Zeppelin air raid have been held. Out of ten at one Court, live Were found to have died from heart failure and shock, and there were similar cases elsewhere. One woman who heard the guns clasped her husband by the hand. He said, "Never mind, we will die together,:; but his wife was dead from shock. Another woman fell downstairs with fright and was killed. Seventeen bombs were dropped in another district, where five persons were killed four mortally wounded, and two died from shock. Three of those killed were boys, who were sleeping together. In another case a father, mother, and daughted were buried in the wreckago of a house. > 'Elsewhere, a youth who ran out of a house was fatally wounded, but a friend who remained behind was unhurt. We recaptured the trenches which the enemy held since Oct. 9, north of Reillon. The enemy in the Vosges delivered a violent attack for a length of five kilometres on the front Achiensen-Hart-1 mans-Wiellerkopf. They used burning petrol and succeeded in the trenches on the summit' of HartmansWielerkopf, but were repulsed elsewhere.
