THE QUEENSLAND BUDGET. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. ' Brisbane, Oct. 14. In the Assembly, the Treasurer delivered the Budget. The revenue for the year was £7,202,658, which was £300,050 above the estimate. The expenditure was £7,199,390, which was £298,000 above the estimate.
The estimate o ftlie revenue for the current year was £7,213,756. and the expnditurc was £7,199,399, which was £298,000 above the estimate. The estimate of the revenue for the current year was £7,313,756, and the expenditure, including interest on public debts, £7,683,419. He referred to the severe efiects of the drought and the dislocation caused by the war. It wa s proposed to meet the Shortage by income and land taxes, which would convert the anticipated delicit to a surplus of £4500.
LABOR COUNCIL AND MR HOLMAN.

The revenue was £10,248,761, exceeding the estimate by £17,402; the expenditure was £11,444,231, exceeding the estimate by £212,572, leaving a deficit of £1,195,. 4/0 He estimated the expenditure including an increase of £298,(181, extra interest on debts, and £IIO,OOO loss on imported wheat.
