DROWNING ACCIDENT.
IN AWAKINO RIVER. !The New Plymouth police yesterday morning received information from Constable McGregor, of Mokau, that a man named William Monaghan was believed to have been drowned in the Awakino river on Wednesday night. A search was being made, but the telegram stated that the body had not been recovered.
