FAMOUS THEATRICAL MANAGER By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. London, Oct. 4. The death is announced of Mr. George Edwardes, the theatrical manager. Received Oct. 5, 5.5 p.m. London, Oct. 4, Mr. Edwardes' health had been undermined through the hardships he suffered during his detention in Germany, where he was undergoing a cure when the war broko out.
Leading members of the profession pay striking tributes to Mr. Edwardes' work for musical comedy.
