One of the very uncommon tilings is common sense. The higher a woman's education the lower her opinion of men. A fat man would rather get fatter than go hungry, but it is different with a l'at woman. You can climb pretty high in the world, but you never set so high that you are above suspicion. One of the maddest men we ever saw was a chap who yelled loudly for a square deal and got it. A woman always gets anything she really wants, from a trinket to a man —and sne generally loses them again afterwards. When a woman wants to renew her youth she tries a new hair tonic and a new brand of face powder; a man simply goes in for a new flirtation and gets twice the effect.—Helen Rowland,
