BUTTER FREIGHTS. By Telegraph.—'Press Association, Wellington, Last Xight. In the House this afternon, Mr. Massev said that Home freights for produce were in the hands of the Board of Trade, and the Government had no power to interfere with charges. He understood that freights for butter had been advanced, and he had communicated with the Home authorities on the subject. The Prime Minister said iie regretted to hear that the local price of butter had been raised, and he pointed out that the Dominion's price was regulated by the export value.
