IN THE AIR.
RAID ON GHENT. SUCCESS ATTENDS ALLIED AIRMEN. Received Sept 27, 6.15 p.m. Amsterdam, Sept. 27. The Allied airmen in the raid on Ghent endeavoured to bomb the Phoenix ammunition factory. They damaged come houses and destroyed the new eehool for German airmen. They also downed two enemy aeroplanes at Ekach, the pilots being killed.
