HOLY TRINITY, TE HENUI.
SALE OF WORK. Weather conditions were unkind for the Ladies Guild of To Henul, who held their sale of work on Thursday afternoon and evening. Those who were brave enough to venture, however, were well repaid for the effort, and taking all adverse circumstances into consideration' —weather, counter-attractions, and economy— the results were not disjointing. The hall and the stalls were tastefully decorated. Mesdames Foote, Fox and Miss Pratt had charge of the plain and fancy stall; M'esdames R. Griffiths, Addenbrook, Fetch, Sal way the ■produce stall; Misses Cutfield, 15. Whiteombe. P. Wliitoombe, and Foote the lollie stall; and Mrs. Rennsll, assisted by Mrs. Jones, and Misses Gibson, Salway, Pattie, and Jackson, had ! charge of the refreshment department. ■Miss Fenton also had charge of a stall of school apparatus and books donated by herself. Mr*. E. C.riffiths has generously offered the use of her beautiful garden for a further sale of work to be held sometime _in the sonimev, to compensate for the unfortunate weather conditions of yesterday.
