HOMING.
NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. During t/he past week the New Plymouth East Plying Club have decided three races. The first was from Onga-rue a distance of &8 miles, and 25 birds competed, representing five lofts. Tlie weather was unfavorable, but fair times were recorded. Results are as follows: James Bros' "Cool Air," 2hrs 45mins, 1. W. Rocli's "Fluke," 2hrs 45min 30sec, •2. H. J. Moverley's "Sirius," 2 hra 46min 30s ec, *2. J. James' "Happy Jack," 4. The second race was from Waveriey, a distance of 58 miles. Out of the 0(1 competing birds, only two arrived 'home on the day of liberation, tlie rest homing early the next morning. Results:— James Bros' "Castor Oil." 3hrs 15min, 1. W, Beal's "Nelson," 4hrs 15mi,i) 2. J James' "Fire Fly," 4hrs 20min, 3. The third race was from Palmerston North, a distance of 130 miles. Fortyseven birds competed, representing, seven lofta. The weather was fair and fair times were recorded. Results:— .J. Roch's "Brunswick," 4hra 25min, 1. James Bros' "Sun Star," 4hrs 27min, 2. H. J. Moverley's "Patience," 4hra Sfimin, 3.
