buxjjEK v. Vest coast. By Telegraph.—Press Association Westport, Last Night. Yesterday's football match between Buller and West Coast, the proceeds to b,! in -aid of the Sick and Wounded Fund, resulted in a draw, bpth teams scoring six points (two tries). The try getters were Collingen and Nelson (West Coast), and French and Aitken (Buller). The total takings, including the sale ot flowers and sweets, were something over £7O. Bad weather interfered with the attendance.
I Wellington, Last Night. Tlie Association football season practically closed with the Charity Cup final, Thistle beating Hospital by 2 goals to nil. Gibson scored both goals. - The Rugby matches for the benefit ol the Wounded Soldiers' Fund resulted as follow: Petone beat Poneke by 20 points to 9; Shipping beat Customs by 15 points to 5.
