AUSTRALIAN MEAT FOR FRANCE. (Times and Sydney Sun Scrv>'.>*.) London, Sep;. 1~Sir G. H. Reid presented to M. Delcasse a vigorous memorandum respecting Australian refrigerated meat. He said that au American trust was chartering all the French steamers with insulated space, had obtained a monopoly of canned meat supplies for the Trench army, and the right to deliver meat in France free of duty for three years after the "war. M, Delcasse listened sympathetically to Mr. Reid, and said there waa a hope of raiding the embargo against AottnUan meats.
