A SOLDIERS' CLUB.
MR. PATRICK'S GENEROSITY,
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. Recently, a number of old boys of the Otago High School formed themselves a committee with the object of raising funds for the establishment of a Soldiers' Club in Dunedin. Negotiations were entered into for the purchase of tho late Dr. Hocken's propertv in Moray Place, and the chairman of the committee has received a letter from Mr. Wm. Patrick, who enclosed a cheque for the amount which he understood was required to purchase the property. This ensures the success of the project, and all that remains to be done is to raise funds for furnishing and equipping the clubhouse, which is situated in the lieart of the city, and contains twelve large rooms and comprises a quarter of an acre of land.
