FOOTBALL.
PRIMARY SCHOOLS CHAMPIONSHIP. The linal of the Primary Schools' football championship was played at Victoria Park, Stratford, oil Saturday, when the contesting teams were Stratford and SVaitani. The members of the Waitara team were much heavier than the Stratford boys, but the latter showed more science and the game resulted in an easy win for the local team. Tries were scored by MiCulloch (2), W. Grubb and F. Collins. .Mr. Campbell Jackson was the referee. By their victory in this match. Stratford still holds the Shield, which lias been in its possession for the five years.'
