TO BE CONTROLLED IN NKW ZEALAND. , By Telegrapli.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. At a meeting of about one hundred shareholders of the Talisman Company to-night, jt "was resolved: —(1) That this meeting of shareholders in the Talisman Consolidated Gold-mining Company, having iu view the great saving that can be effected, approves of the removal of the head office from London to New Zealand; (2) That the thanks of the shareholders be presented to the Wellington Local Committee for taking the initiative ill the matter, and to t»he London Board of Directors for facilitating the proposed transfer; (3J That the meeting suggests that the new Board of Directors consist of not less than seven, and not move t'han nine members, the majority of such Board of Directors to be residents of Auckland province.
