GOOD TEMPLAR HALL.
BAZAAR IN AID OF THE FUNDS. Yesterday afternoon a bazaar, in aid of the funda of the Good Templar Hall, was opened in that building by Mr. Frank Wilson, in the presence of a large attendance. The interior of the hall had been completely transformed by energetic bands of workers, bunting and greenery having been used with excellent effect in the decorative scheme. On one sido of the hall were the afternoon tea tables, neatly arranged, and the rest of the space was devoted to a number of stalls, each of which was laden with a large variety of articles. The stallholders and their assistants were kept busy during the afternoon and evening, and tho results of their efforts should prove very satisfactory . Throughout the day there was a constant stream of visitors, and last night the attendance was again very large. A musical programme last evening added to the attractiveness of tho fair, and was much appreciated. The Salvation Army Band also rendered several selections outside the hall. The stall-holders and their assistants were:—Plain and fancy-work stall: Mcsdames Bruce, Bestford, Douglas, Inch, and Saunders, and Misses Ambury and Taunt. Jumble and produce: Messrs N. White, 6. H. Maunder, and E. Hedley. Sweets stall: Misse3 White, Blanchard. and Thompstone. Refreshments: Mesdames Legg, Hall, and Arnold and Misses Bielby, Haigh, and Watson. Mr. F. E. Pepperell was in charge of the shooting gallery, which received fair patronage.
