FOOTBALL.
PUBLIC SCHOOLS AT PLAY, By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The public schools Rugby tournament was continued to-day, some good play being seen. Petone Technical School defeated Hastings High School by 26 to 0, and Wellington Public Schools beat Mana,watu Public Schools by 5 to nil. The boys competing in the tourney, to the number of about 150, were entertained at tea at the Normal School this evening, when among those present were the Mayor (Mr. J. P. Luke) fund several members of the Wellington Rugby Union.
