THE LADIES' TOURNAMENT. By Telegraph.—Press -Association. Wellington, Last Night. The New Zealand Ladies' Hockey Championship tournament was continued this afternoon at the Basin Reserve, hefore a moderate attendance. Two matches—Canterbury v. Wairarapa and Wanganui v. Hawke's Bay—provided interesting play, the former attracting the majority of those present. Owing to the non-arrival of the Poverty Bay team until the evening the fixture between Wellington and Poverty Bay will be played next Monday. To-day's games resulted: Wairarapa beat Canterbury, 0 goals to 2. Hawkc'a Bay beat Wanganui, 7 goals to 1.
