ANNUAL MEETING. The eighteenth annual meeting of the Tarata Dairy Company was held aj, the Tarata Public Hall on Saturday afternoon, when .Mr. R. J. Everything had been satisfactory at the factory. Regarding tile £24 10s voted to the Empire Defence Fund, he pointed out that it was for the shareholders to say to which fund it should go as there were so many funds'at present. They 'had disposed season's butter as last year, on Open consignment, through Bray Bros. The motion was seconded by Mr. J. iPaterson, ipd carried without discussion. ELECTION OF DIRECTORS. The following directors were elected unopposed:—Messrs. R. J. Morey, H. Lambert, E. J. Askew, 0. H. Burr, J. Patterson (re-elected), and A. Taylor. H. George and Messrs. A. Marshall,. E. G. Mackie, Topping, R. Patterson Senr,, Simmons and M. J. Harligan were nominated, but declined to stand, Mr. M. Hopson was re-elected auditor at a fee of £2 2s. GENERAL. It was decided to pay £l2 5s to the Belg'ian Relief Fund, and £l2 5s to the Wounded Soldiers' Fund. CHAIRMAN. At a subsequent meeting directors. Mr. R. J. Morey was re-elected chairman
