KAPONGA DEFEATS CLIFTON. . By Telegraph.—Press Association. Eltham, Last Night. Kaponga defeated Clifton to-day by 5 points to 3. The scoring was done in the second half. Beard scored a try, which King converted, for Kaponga. Backholm scored Clifton's try. The ground was heavy and damp. The Kaponga forwards were heavy and vigorous and play was keen..
