Miss Brewster is to he congratulated on winning the ladies' championship of the New (Plymouth Club, Miss Brewster haa played steady golf throughout the season, and having won the Weston Cup and the championship has clearly established her position as the club's "first string." Mrs. Walker has won the junior ladies' championship after playing through the competition consistently. In the final she defeated Mrs. Flower. The best feature of Mrs. Flower's play was her good driving, but Mrs. Walker gained a considerable! advantage by good approaches, which were always handy to tho pin. Tho final of the ladies' senior championship in the Stratford Golf Club was played off on Wednesday between Mrs. Abraham and Mrs. 8. Spence. The match proved close and interesting. It will not lose its shape o,r crack or burst. Challenger Golf Balls are the best and last longest. -Advt, b
