BULGARIA THREATENED. WILL SUFFER BELGIUM'S FATE. UNLESS SHE BOWS TO GERMANY. Bucharest, Au:?ust 20. It is reported that the new offensive against Serbia avoids western Serbia and will lie concentrated in the northeastern districts, with the view of eventually advancing through Bulgaria, via Widin, Belogradchik ami Sofia. There is reason to believe that Bulgaria has been informed of the intended aggression and, if she resists, is threatened with suffering Belgium's fate. If she acquiesces she will be given carte blanche against Serbia. AN OMINOUS PORTENT. TROOPS CONCENTRATING. (Times and Sydney Sun Services.) Received August 27, 7.40 p.m. London, August 20. The Times correspondent at Bucharest reports that troops are arriving in many quarters for a concentration of AustroCerman troops along the north bank of the Danube. Goods traffic between Roumania and Austria is completely suspended at all points on the frontier, and passenger traffic is limited to one train each way. The restriction is undoubtedly due to the passage of troops southwards from Gaiicia.
