'Kvidenee was given that prisoner cntereil Mrs. Dandy's shop sobbing. "Oil, I'm pleased to get home to my wife, and children!" Mrs. Dandy accepted hint as her husband and lived with -him for a week till her relatives expressed doubts as to his identity, lie explained his altered appearance by the horrors of war and the seriousness of his wounds. We excused his hiclv of knowledge of Dandy's home affairs by loss of memory- Soldiers who fought with Daudv declared that prisoner was an impersonator. Mrs. Hall, of Penticroft, gave evidence that 'prisoner was her husband, who enlisted early in the, year and had since been training an North Wales. . Mrs. Hall, in leaving the court, shouted, "It's a caution for people not to know ■ their own husbands. I should 'know my husband in a huadrcd."
