COURSING NOTES.
TO-MORROW'S MEETING, The following Stratford dogs have been nominated for tho New Plymouth meetiug, to be held on Thursday:—R. Healy's Black Mascot, S. Rowe's Daylight Star, R. Neal's Black Chief, and C. Healy'a Connemara. The last-named dog is, without doubt, tho best, and, should his logs be good on Thursday, his defeat seems impossible. Mr. A. M. Hignett lias a fine pair of dogs, about four months old, and sired by Mr. C. Healy's Connemara, which should be hard to beat later on. Mr. Ilignett has always been a keen sport in coursing, and with the puppies he owns now it is hoped ho will be seen out at) the coursing meetings next year. Mr. Harry Voyle has entered into partnership with Mr, C. Healy with the dog Flying Start. This pup is 4 months old, and was awarded first prize at Hawera. He is also one of Conricraara's sons, and Mr. S. Rowe has his full sister.
Mr. R. Healy is leaving by the first train this morning with Black Mascot, and Mr. S. Rowe with Daylight Star. Mr. E. Neal with Black Chief, and C. Hoaly with Coimemara will leave by the mail to-night.
