A CURIOUS INCIDENT. Received August 0, 'J.2O p.m. Petrograd, August G. A curious illustration of the possibilities of modern warfare occurred during the fighting at Piaseczno, ten miles south of Warsaw. An Austrian patrol lost its wayi and wandered into the suburbs of Warsaw. Recognising that they were helpless they sought an opportunity to surrender, but no Russian, troops could he found. Finally, the patrol entered a restaurant, and asked that a messenger should be sent to the nearest Russian troops. Meanwhile they ordered dinner and waited until a convoy arrived and completed their capture
