A Socialist meeting at the Queen's Hall demanded tin- prosecution of the war until a final and conclusive peace was achieved. Mr. Ken Tillett, Mr. Hyndniaii, and also Mcs-rs ]|o<W am' G. Roberts. Ms !>.. snnke. There were ron-iderablo disturbances, and khakiclad Socialists aided in ejecting the interrupters.

In the House of Commons, Mr. As(jiiith said that Britain's air service is equal to that of any Power. Mr. 'Pennant said that aeroplane losses had been very great, but all had been made good. and an enormous number more had lie.ci supplied. The War (Ulice was highly iinpressd by the importance of aeroplanes, and had decided on a definite policy, which was being carried out as quickly as possible. Sir V.
