A circular leter was received from the Education Department in regard to the schemes of control for secondary schools The arrangements for the New Plymouth High School were that the member to be appointed by the Education Board shall be appointed by the EduMtion Board before August 31, 1015. Mr. Webster drew attention to the fact that a .girl had been refused admission to the Girls' Boarding School owing to lack of accommodation, and, after d.scussion, it was decided to impress on the lady principal that it was not desirable to refuse admission if there was any possibility of accommodating applicants.
