The Kurow Jockey Club was give, the option of racing on September ISO or October 14, on the understanding that this will not prejudice their application to race on the first Thursday in October for tlic future., -The Waipu Racing Club was granted .Decmber 4, in lieu of December .1. The Marlborough Racing Club's objection to. the amended application o.f the .Ashhurst-Pohangina Racing Club for November 17 was upheld, ami the Ashhnrst Club was allocated November 24. The.Manawatu, Racing Club is to be asked to select dates for their December meeting, so that the third day bo not later than December 20. The (iisborne Racing Club was granted Fd-j----.ruary .'J and 5, in lieu of February 10 and 12. The South Canterbury. Jo'ckey Club, in terms of their letter, was grant- I ed March 23 and 25 in lieu of AprjJ is and 15, and Jtho./Southland Racing Club was granted April 12 and 111, likewise on the understanding contained in the letter from t\w. South Canterbury Jockey Club. The Mauawatu Racing Club was granted April 12 and 13. The (iisborne Racing Club was granted June 15 and 17/ and the Hawke's Bav Jockey Chili was granted Juno 30 and' July l.'in lieu of June 10 and 17, as both clubs have mutually agreed to the dates. A letter from the Wanganui Jockey Club objecting to the Otaki Club's September dates could not be considered, as it was nor. lodged within fourteen days of the meeting of the Dates Committee. An appeal from the Southland Racing Club against the North Otago January dates was referred by the conference to the committee, with power to act. The applications of the Taratahi-Car-terton, and Te Kuiti Racing Clubs for I extra days of racing could not be granted, as there were no days of raeinavailable.
With reference to the application of the Waikanae Hunt Club for registration, (he committee recommended: '•'That provided a.'liliation is granted the Waikanae Hunt Club by the New Zealand Hunts Association, registration be gwn'ed under the Rules of Racing. It was recommended (hat the cerlil cites of registration of certain clubs ;,e cancelled, there being no record of their having held race meetings during tinpast three years, and, in some instance-, on account, of amalgamation with other clubs. The following clubs were included:— Taraiii'.ki district, Mamtia ILK.'', (disbanded), Pa tea R.C., Waitara li.C . Wanganui District, Karioi .1.e.. Xgawak.i Farmers' R.C.. WaiToiigato R.C. (defunct). Wellington District,. Lower Valley J.C., Waikanae Ti.R.C. (now formed into Wa.ikaw'.e Hunt).
