SERIES 01' RESOLUTIONS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, July 0. The Labor Congress to-day decided thut Ministers should officially recognise nil registered trade unions which have members working in their departments; that any worker employed by the Government in any department should re-, ceive not loss than the award rate of pay governing the class of work he was engaged to perform; that the system., of including trades unions and friendly society old age pensions in the income tax returns when applying for State old age pensions is a tax 011 thrift; that the conference co-operate with international trado unions and peace societies with the object of terminating tho war; that the Government be urged to impose a graduated tiix on incomes and land for the. relief of distress caused by the war, all incomes below £250 to be exempt; that the conference urge a repeal of tho law allowing the occupier of a shop to keep the same open on tiia statutory half-holiday in any week in which a special holiday falls; that payment at overtime rates be made for time in excess of 52 hours-spent in attendance
