The suspension of the Deutsche Tagcs Zeitung, in consequence of its attack on the Chancellor, is a more serious matter than was at first thought. The naval party, headed <by Admiral von Tirpitz, was credited with a plot to turn out the Government, which would be replaced by more Bismarckian men, and form the 'biggest schism possible in the Cabinet. WOMEN AS WORKERS. EMPLOYED FREELY EVERYWHERE. Received June 25, 11.20 p.m. London, June 25. A neutral visitor to lierlin, writing to the Times, emphasises the remarkable success of Germany in organising women everywhere, and 'says they have been thrust into positions of ureal responsibility. A party of women of geiit'e birth were seen digging in a drainage ditch, in Berlin. Forty per cent, of the workers manufacturing high explosive shells and packing cartridges are women. Fifteen per cent, of the hands making harness, fiftv per cent, of the tcntniakers. thirtv-tiiree per cent, of the chemical makers, seventy-five per cent, packing finned meals and in (lie army textile mills and seventy per cent, of the tiili-.'.-i-o workers were women.
