At the annual meeting of the Stratford Bowling Club the report presented stated that there was a slight decrease in playing members, but there was a promise of a number of new members for next season. Tlie balance-sheet, after writing oil' £l2 2s !)<1 for depreciation, showed a net profit of £l3 7s 11<1 for the year. The following officers were, elected:—President, Mr. .T. W. McMillan; vice-president, Mr. J. Masters; treasurer, Mr. .T. McDonald; auditor, Mr. T. 11. Pcnn; secretary, Mr. S. M. Povritt; committee, Messrs Hartley, Smart, Martin Tc-vci-sei'L'e anil F. McDonald; clubs solicitor. Mv.'T. 0. Fnokcs; delegates to centre Messrs <".'. .Smart and J. Masters. The meeting strongly favored tno adoption of the two-feet-on-llu-nmt play. The delcates were recommended to support thoVineiple that the banner competitions be by challenge.
