When Sub-Lieutenant Warneford unexpectedly looped the loop owing to his machine turning over the petrol escaped near the tank. He landed, quickly refilled the tank from the reserve supply, and rooscended. In connection with the destruction of the hangar north of Brussels the column of flame rose to such a height as to suggest that a Ibomb had penetrated a Zeppelin within and that the escaping gas had ignited.
