RIFLE SHOOTING.
• urkntt club. • The Urcnui Rifle Cfltllj opened the season with a match between teams picked by C. Rumbal and W. Vincent, the latter winning by the small margin of 14 points. A very tricky wind was troublesome, as the majority were bcginners. The ladies provided afternoon tea, and a most enjoyable afternoon was spent. In the evening the losers entertained tlio winners at a very sumptuous repast at the Urenui Hotel. Detailed are the scores:— W.
