AN ANXIOUS WAVE. ; GENERAL MILITARY SERVICE J COMING. Amsterdam, June 2. Reports show that a wave of anxiety is passing over the Dutch press, which is declaring that the Netherlands will commit suicide in a cowardly manner unless every effort is made to strengthen the defensive forces. The feeling indicates a realisation of the dangers of unpreparedness. There is popular clamor ,for an army of 600,000, many cannon and several aircraft. * The War Minister is introducing a (Bill aa a step towards general military service.
