NOUT IIJ7RN CARNIVAL.

The Northern Boxing Association held a successful carnival here this evening. The main attraction was the contest between Barney Ireland and Sid Mitchell, for the professional middle-weight championship 0 f New Zealand. The contest was full of incident. In the sixth round Mitchell was groggy, but recovered quickly, and in the ninth round knocked Ireland out.
