DEAD BODY IDENTIFIED.

The dead body of the man found in the bush at Karori yesterday has be?:i identified as that of Matthew Byrus Tollhurst, a wharf laborer, who was last seen alive on February 9th.

A FATAL FALL.

Dunedin, Last Night,

While loading sacks on to a lorry at Messrs. Dalgetv and Co.'s store this afternoon, John McCarthy, a married man, living at Burns Street, Caversham, •lipped and fell on his head, striking the "concrete floor. The side of his head was severely cut, and he was at once taken to the. hospital, where lie died shortly after admission. McCarthy was about 38 to 40 years of age. ■
